Northwest Indiana has been the home of BeachView Shih Tzu's since 1995.Our Tzu's are very busy with our family. I would like to tell you a little about us also.My husband Tom is a Long Shoremen at The Port of Indiana and has owned his small car business for over 35 years now.We have raised 3 sons & 1 daughter. Our daughter is the youngest she's 24 yrs. old and will be married soon.I am now a retired Vet. Technician & am very involved in canine genetics [ 25 yrs. invested ] and I fancy pedigree research. Our breeding over all these years has been quit limited. At this time in our lives we are not exhibiting in the Conformation Show Circuit. We and our fur babies are now going to become beach bums.Since our 2 legged kids are grown,we and our Shih Tzu's will be moving to our very tiny house at the beach.Once we get settled in ,we'll be back out to Show our Stuff come next spring. Our long awaited move iis what prompted the name BeachView Shih Tzu's.I take breeding very seriously.Quality & loving temperament has always been my paramount focus. We only produce 2 litters a year as that is all i have time for. They are adored by us and are a very expensive hobby. Proper socialization is very important ,as they are very people oriented and want to cuddle and play.I do not believe in to many litters at one time ,as quality care for a Shih Tzu and or puppies is very important. We breed According to the adopted standard of The A.K.C. and The C.K.C. Our fur babies are usually between 9 to 12 lbs. grown. Always beware of unscrupulous breeders.Meaning Do Your Home Work.If you would like more info on our 4 legged kids ,we'd love to talk.
